The Health and Safety Executive "strongly recommend" an annual half day refresher for existing First Aiders and Appointed Persons.

First Aiders who hold a current three year First Aid at Work or Appointed Person certificate and would benefit from practising and refreshing their skills between certificates.

This is aimed at existing First Aiders and is not intended for those needing to train in First Aid for the first time.

Open courses are held regularly at training venues in Norwich - courses can also be arranged at your venue anywhere in the UK

(subject to suitability).

All courses will cover:

Resuscitation

Control of bleeding

Choking

The unconscious casualty

First Aiders will also have the opportunity to raise any specific skills that they wish to refresh.
